Our terroir

“A diverse terroir for a full expression”

The vineyard of “Pascal Lejeune House” is located on the southern slopes of Epernay, spread out over four villages : Pierry, a renowned premier cru, Vinay, Epernay (the capital of Champagne), and Moussy, the historical birthplace of the area where more than half of the vineyard’s grapevines are located.

Situated at the crossroads of “Marne Valley” and “Côte des Blancs”, the 4.40 Ha plots in the Champagne appellation, benefit from a diverse range of terroirs (silt and clay-limestone) which provide the optimal conditions for the grapes to mature on steep slopes with predominately south, south-east exposure .

Although our three grape varieties spread out across a mosaic of 42 plots, the majority of our vines (64%) is composed of the Meunier varietal, one of the two authorised black grapes. Otherwise, Chardonnay (a white grape) and Pinot Noir represent respectively 25% and 11% of the whole vineyard.

Our only aim is to offer wine lovers exceptional champagnes that reflect the terroir. Champagnes that are both fresh and deep, perfect to accompany moments of pleasure to share with friends and family.
